On September 2, 1984, devotees launched Padayatra at Dwaraka Dhama, India’s western most point.
Since then it has been traveling all over the country, covering about 48,000 kilometers while distributing books and pamphlets in 10 languages carrying their Lordships Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga along with Srila Prabhupada on the bullock cart. These carts are pulled by native indian breed of cattle.
This yatra also visited “Srila Prabhupada Goshala” with Ecstatic Kirtans, devotees also honored Sri Radha Govinda Prasadam and blessed the devotees with their presence.
The Padayatra has successfully introduced the importance of cow protection in the thousands of villages throughout 19 of India’s 25 states.
