Rama Navami is an important festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu.
The Hare Krishna mandir, celebrated the festival with great enthusiasm. The celebration starts with the recitation of Vedic mantras, Rama taraka Yajna, bhajans and Kirtans in praise of Lord Rama. The temple is decorated with colorful flowers and lights, and a beautifully decorated deities. Devotees gather in large numbers to participate in the celebrations and offer prayers to Lord Sri Rama. The temple also organizes a grand feast or prasadam, which is distributed cooling Panakam and Buttermilk to all the devotees through out the day.
The festival of Rama Navami is a reminder of the importance of righteousness and the victory of good over evil, and the Hare Krishna mandir celebrates it with great devotion and dedication.
